Kara Rahimi Named “Rising Star” in Super Lawyers!
By Kosieradzki Smith Law Firm / July 23, 2013
Kara Rahimi has been selected as one of the Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” for 2013. The “Rising Stars” consists of a list of attorneys who are 40 years of age or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are named to this list. In order to become a “Rising Star” Super Lawyers uses a patented multiphase selection process, one of which Rising Stars are to be personally nominated by Lawyers who have observed the candidate in action in the courtroom.
However, not only are Rising Stars nominated; they must also have the right credentials, which are reviewed by attorneys. The attorneys review whether or not the candidate is, “properly licensed, in good standing with the state licensing agency, and when possible, that they have no history of disciplinary action that would warrant a removal from the list.” Based on the evaluation by the attorneys the Rising Star candidates receive points in which they are ranked by.
According to Super Lawyers, “The objective is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel.” The lists are published annually in state and regional editions of Super Lawyers Magazines and in inserts and special advertising sections in leading city and regional magazines and newspapers.
Kara started at the Kosieradzki Smith Law firm as a Law Clerk in June 2006 and moved up to become an associate Attorney in October 2008. She is now a part of the “Rising Stars” 2013 list and has done an outstanding job. With that being said, Bravo Ms. Rahimi!
